Can’t find the lamp you’re looking for?  Create your own at Inhabit.  The intuitive Inhabit Builtby online lamp builder makes creating the perfect lamp for your living room or bedroom extremely easy.

 

Simply click on a square body piece you want and drag it to your Builtby lamp base.  After you have built the lamp you can assign each piece a colour or wood texture. 

There are four different woods you can use in the creating of your lamp: oak, rosewood, walnut and wenge.  However, like everything in this world the concept is far from perfect.  For some strange reason there are only 5 different colours to choose from.  You’re probably thinking exactly what I am; why?! 

Anyway, they are baby blue, lime green, orange, silver and white.  Still, that choice of patterns and colours is still enough for more than one million different Builtby lamp possibilities.  No, I’m not exaggerating.

Every lamp is environmentally friendly.  No formaldehydes or VOC finishes are used on the base of the lamp, which is made from 100% recovered wood fibres.

The website keeps count of the cost of your lamp as you build it.  But, be careful, all the options available may make you buy more than you wanted.  Shipping is free in the U.S.
